The intent of the flag project is to expose the kids to international geography, learn about different cultures and currency, and experience foreign business travel.  Each day as the flag travels it's journey, people will sign the flag and photos and information will be sent back to the school via email to keep the kids up to date on it's journey.

The flag was prepared for use on a Ham Radio DX-pedition to Myanmar starting Nov. 12, 2013 through November 26, 2013. The flag started its journey in Fontana, CA on Nov. 12, 2013, 4:30 AM and travel to Los Angeles, CA - LAX International Airport. After a day layover in Yangon, Myanmar, the flag departed the Park Royal Hotel and Casino ($230 USD per night) at 5:30 AM to board a flight (Air KBZ flight K7-202) on Nov. 15, 2013 at 7:30 AM to Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar arriving about 1 hour later.
